Back Lightingby AlainComment: Great shot. Such a proud animal. Good detail in the shadows. The soft focus in the background really works. |

Youth Of The Sunby JudiComment: The little guy is competing with the most powerful energy source in the solar system for our attention. He can't win. If he's the subject of the photo, turn the camera around and let the sun highlight him. |

Dawn Glow at 5.47 amby BrianRComment: The lighting is unusual - almost as though a gigantic flash had gone off. The picture is a little too busy, however.I'm thinking if you had cropped this down to just the boats in the forground, you'd still have your lighting effect and a much more pleasing photograph. Just a thought. |

Drummer Boyby Postgate1Comment: Very cute as graphic art, but I don't see the photographic qualities of depth and texture. Its too flat - like a painting on a wall. |

The Art Of Being Realby IvoryComment: If he were being "real" I don't think he'd be hiding behind those sunglasses. He'd be showing us what he was "really" thinking and feeling. Nice photo. |

Golden portraitby stanm2Comment: If HE were lit up this would be a golden portrait. You needed to take the shot from the opposite angle with the sun behind you and illuminating the subject. |

Whiskery Silhouetteby freakin_hilariousComment: I think this would be far more dramatic and convincing if we didn't see the kitty's forleg in the foreground. Including the leg takes away from the mystery of the photo. |
