The Journey Beginsby brayburnComment: Lighting and tones are equisite. Excellent sense of depth, of lower(?) Manhattan, and the blurred figure in the foreground gives the photo an immediacy and relevance. The streak of light along the far curb almost makes it appear as though the figure and van are traveling in opposite directions. |

Boathouse, Cape Splitby Bear_MusicComment: Though I like the overturned boat and setting, this boathouse isn't interesting enough, imo, to command the attention the photo is giving it, even though the processing/lighting/colors improves it some. |
