Windows of the Soulby KINGComment: More than anything, I like the grainy, gritty feel to this photo because I think it balances well with the high key tone of the image and the color of your eyes. Together they provide clues for the viewer to see more deeply and completely to your essence. Correct me if I'm wrong but from your gaze and expression I believe I see a gentle, peaceful and sensitive soul who is upbeat and uplifting. Very well done. |

My Portraitby MattOzComment: Very unique portrait and one I like very much. I love the way you seperate the two different colors and your use of negative space. The colors are super and the overall effect is very effective. Great job! |

welcome 2 gerard's worldby gecutsComment: I like the feeling you've gotten here of a big blue expansive sky contrasting with the green rolling hills. Also, very good DOF. I do wish there was more of you to be seen in the photo, though. Well done overall. |

Me Myself and Iby grigrigirlComment: I like the eerie and haunting effect you got with the bottom lighting and the tones it rendered. The use of negative space is very effective and the composition is really good with the three different poses and looks you've taken. The lone track light in the foreground also adds alot to the image. Well done...one of my favorites for this challenge. |

Auraby csokaComment: Interesting effect but I find focus is not as sharp as could be. and I find the cable in the left part of the picture to be distracting. Also, wish your face was better illuminated on your left side. |

Shattered and Shutteredby autoolComment: Good job on elliminating all glare, and I like the contrasting deep, dark blue sky. However, I think the photo to be a tad bit underexposed and find that you are hard to make out in the mirror. Maybe some fill light directed your way could have remedied this. Also, I'm not crazy about the composition as I find the mirror and rocks to be prominent and command a majority of the attention here and you are secondary, which should not be the case in a portrait. |

Me-Myselfby justineComment: I like your pose, expression and pleasing features. Your face is well lit with a nice soft natural light despite the strong backlighting, but there appears to be a slight yellow color cast to the picture that is not flattering. Also, I don't like the sudden demarcation between the white and yellow background and find that the upper white part of the background is empty space that adds nothing to the photo. Focus is too soft as well. |

me and my panby jbruno1397Comment: I wish the pan did not seem to be impaled in your head. I also find that your skin tones to be too dark. |

I Shoot 'Em, I Just Never Submit 'Emby f-32Comment: This photo seems unorganized, cluttered, with poor lighting and little artistic value, yet it is colorful, interesting to look at, funny, well exposed, cheerful, makes me smile, and I see the subject as being loveable. An informal portrait such as this one tells much more about the person and is more honest in it's depiction of the subject than the formal variety kind, IMO. In addition, this picture tells a story. There is much for the viewer to feast on here. Nice job. |
