VERY nicely captured waterfall and I love the contrast with the solid boulders. However, the composition is a bit weak, I feel, as I would have preferred to see a wider angled shot showing the setting this scene exists in.

Very beautiful picture! I love the composition and perspective you've captured here, as well as, the rich tones in the deck and boats. Wonderful color contrast between the foreground and background landscape, as well. Focus is sharp. I just find the detailless and blown out sky to be it's achilles heal. Still, an absolutely terrific picture.

I like the idea of a backlit sunflower, but not sure I like the washed-out look. A bit too hot looking at the top of the picture and lost detail in the center of the flower reduce it's impact for me.

Colors and lighting are awesome and you've captured the bird nicely. I just wish the DOF was deeper as I find the out-of-focus flowers to be a litte distracting.

I think the grain, extreme harsh lighting and blue toning of this image really support and give credence to the intense, desperate and sad expression of your young model, all contribuiting to a very cogent image for this challenge. He appears almost to be a poster-child for some cause or disease. Well done.

Why Me?

I love the framing with the vivid colors, geometric shapes and interesting perspective through the tunnel/tube here, but all this does'nt say desolatioin to me, especially with the feigned pose of your young subject, who I just can't believe to have feelings of desolation.
