Single Tree with Blackbirdsby holyjoComment: I like the subtle lighting and muted colors in this scene, but think the image is too static with it's single centered subject. |

Picture windowby geewhyComment: Though I find the image to be too static due to it's centeredness, I really like the inside green stone walls and the image on the outside. I really like how you've balanced the shadow and highlight areas inside the room. This whole image has the feel of a middle ages/renaissance painting. Meets the challenge well. Nicely done. |

Snow Wind And Fogby MonaComment: Even with the excessive noise, this is an awesome shot. Very moody and with a very unusual structure. Lighting is strage in that the snow bank in the lower left is brighter than the rest of the image. You can clean up the noise problem with Neat Image. Good luck. |

For Your Protection...by GeneralEComment: I think you should have left this image as a bit of photojournalism rather than applying post processing modifications that confuse the issue. You were probably after some sort of futuristic/sci-fi artisitic effect, but it didn't serve the purpose because it wasn't carried out well enough. Had you left the telephone pole recognizable I think more people would have got it. |

Huerfano Butteby fredrojComment: I know why you did the border, but it detracts from the more subtle and muted colors of your scene. Plus, I would have preferred a landscape format for this scene. |

Surveying the sceneby dan_pendletonComment: Wonderful portrait! I love the colors and the DOF is great in that it blurs slightly to bring out the animal more, but allows the viewer to see its habitat. Well done. |
