Thanks for the comments folks. For those that questioned the centeredness of this picture, the "Subject" of the picture is the piece of drinking straw that is stuck in the nostrils of the poor goose. this is what drew my attention and why I took the picture in the first place, hence it is the "Subject" of the picture. That straw is smack-dab in the center of the photo. Measure it if you would like! :)

I guess there is very little appreciation for sports photography here on DPC. I challenge you folks to go out to your local ice arena and try shooting through the scuffed up glass and getting good shots of the players on the ice! Ice arenas are one of the toughest shooting environments you can find!

A little too shallow. The bottom lashes are spot-on, but it is almost painful to try to bring enough of the eye into focus with my eyes. (Maybe I'm getting too tired...)
