Jackby TiNComment: Excellent image. In this entry it is almost inappropriate to have anything at all in sharp focus. :) |

Bye Schumacherby pradobjComment: Wish I understood the significance of the hand gesture. It is the end of an era in racing with Schumacher's parting. |

Flower bokehby facesastheycomeComment: When I see an image like this I see a lot of my own approach to photography in it. You have a tack sharp main subject, better than I usually do and better than my entry in this challenge. Because of the sharp focus your background bokeh appears more mottled than it otherwise would be. That is because it is a basic challenge and you can't mask out the focus in the background like you or I would want. The bokeh in my entry was 'more obvious', for lack of a better term, and is better complimented by sharp focus and I suspect I will get a higher score because of it. I really like the sharpness and DOF of your flower. |

Time to relaxby parallaxComment: Nicely setup, good composition, bokeh supports main subject. Wish the reflection off the book was not overexposed. |

Greenby John WhiteComment: Simple yet elegant. What gorgeous greens! After the challenge remove those distracting black specks. |

Pansies: Just one pretty face in a Crowdby dallasduxComment: Nice smooth bokeh, surrounds pansy nicely. You might consider off setting the position of the pansy and applying more sharpening.
I don't vote down an image because of its border, but do find it to be a distraction in this composition. Works, though, if you are an Oregon State University or Oklahoma State University fan. |

Boatmen in a Songby kiranComment: I'm guessing that you are being trashed for using motion blur to produce bokeh. The guy that invented the term 'bokeh' as applied to photography specifically excluded motion blur and camera shake in his definition, I believe. Yours is a good picture under any definition. |

I'm ready for my close upby mambaComment: Big fan of butterflys and like this one a lot. Great perspective and focus. Contrast looks a little weak with muted colors but otherwise an outstanding capture. |
