Fall Memoriesby PantherboyComment: I think this is a good concept. It would score higher if the color were more vibrant and there wer lighting. Sunshine showing some shadows cast be the leaves would be good for this image. This way it seems a ittle bland. |

Dead Roses -- Magazine Loversby JPRComment: An exceptional image. The only flaws are slight pixelation in the hair in the bottom right and the white area in the upper left. But still, this is one of the best of this challenge. |

Just Add Breathby KoriyamaComment: Nicely composed shot. Interesting color and a technically superior quality image. |

Still Life.....After the Baseball Seasonby fisheyeComment: A unique and humorous still life. It is a good quality image. It would be perfect without the chair back on the left and a shallower DOF with baseball memorabilia in the background cabinet. |

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ...by altamaxComment: A very intersting concept, especially with the crab. There is more red in this image than I would prefer and I would like to see more lighting but you get high marks for creativity and composition. |

Dom Biralby PaulkComment: Unlike many, this is a real still life shot. The background would add more interest to the image if it were colored, like blue or green. and if you had more interesting lighting. Focus seems a little to soft for how it is set up. |

Still Life with Pickleby fleenkComment: I like your composition but the pickle (which I think is the main subject) is out of focus at its nearest point and distracting to me in this image. The image seems a little stark, perhaps from overshapening a bit. |

X-Ray Geeseby flauriComment: I can't speak for others but reversed image, infrared and other radical color changes do not work well for me and that is true in this case. Live Geese are not a traditional still life subjects since they are animate. Cooked and displayed nicely on a platter, unfortunately, would be better a better still life subject. |

Coinsby laheffComment: Coins and money always make good subjects for still life photography. This image is very small and has poor focus. If your camera has macro capability then a closeup would work better and you should make the image closer to the 640 pixel size allowed. You would also want to try lighting from different angles to add interest to the image. |
