Palest Paletteby SolaireFluxComment: This has got to be the most creative "between red and yellow" concepts in the challenge. The red underwear and yellow top is perfect and the positioning of your model between the purple background thingys (That is a technical photography term) adds to it. And it has great sex appeal. What more could we ask for? |

My favorite beverage and snack!by tolovemoonComment: Great composition but poor focus hurts this image. You might also consider changing the background to remove the grain and make it solid white. This image has real possibilities. |

Waiter, There's a fly in my soup!by Prof_FateComment: This would have done much better if you'd have got the fly in focus. Notice how the background cloth is in better focus than th main subject? That is because the camera was fooled into thinking that is what should have been in focus. You want to make sure the thing of most interest in the image is what is in best focus. |

Every Color from Yellow to Redby tryals15Comment: Always try to find some interesting foreground object to include in the frame to add interest to your sunset/sunrise images. A nice silhouette would work great with this image. |

Au Jardin de Renoirby SkiJumpNoseComment: Decent flower shot. Composed well. The hot spot at the top of the main flower is distracting. Don't know if you tried different apertures for diffeent DOF possibilities, but I like to when I take flowers pictures. Then choose the one with the best focus on the main flower and the shallowest depth of field to make it stand out the most. |

Ballby DiamondPeteComment: The composition in this image is strong in this image. Judging from the white halo around the edge of the ball this image looks like it might have been overfocused. I suspect it had poor focus to start with. The low depth of field where the closest part of the basketball is not focused does not work so well with me in this or other images I see it in when it is the main subject of the image. |
