Yeah, it was a freezing night, but we're used to it up here. For this shot, we went down memorial drive almost all the way to the big dig area. Along the river, they are currently constructing a new park on the Cambridge side. We ended up hopping a few fences and walked around through the unopened park until we found the perfect spot. The same night, were also took a lot of shots at the waterfront, some of which were amazing, but I liked the sky in this one more.

My 3rd challenge! I'm VERY happy with a top 10. I biked around Boston with my buddy for 2 nights trying to get the best night shots. These were the storm clouds that eventually brought 10 days of rain to Boston.

Thanks a lot to everyone who commented. I have learned so much over the last 2 months, and I especially appreciate the comments from the amazing photographers to whom I look up to. I hope to get to know some of the great people here, and look forward to learning much more!

Water looks amazing, although I would love to have seen some of the highlights darkened a bit and shadows brought out more.

Where in cambridge did you shoot this from? Looks like a nice shot, but you shrunk the image too much.

Really wierd.. I like the ghost person, and all of the lights. Water looks nice and crisp. Interesting photograph, I kinda wish I had a better clue as to what I was looking at from the title.

This is one of those photos that could have been top 15 with a couple of changes. Some suggestions:
1. Consider finding a way to fram the image without the street light. For me, it's a bit distracting.
2. The horizon is a bit low, I would have raised it and gotten less sky.
3. Consider playing with the shadows/highlights if you have PS CS2. Also, consider playing with curves and levels to bring out the clouds in the sky.

I know people always ask for critiques; I'm not a great photographer, so take these thoughts with a grain of salt, but I hope they're useful!
