There is definitely potential in this picture. But also some errors imho.

I would crop much tighter. That's always something you tend to do wrong in the beginning. Here the wall adds nothing but distraction. The strength of the photo is the eye.

Also the ligh is not optimal. Too much from above. The eyes are too dark. Have a look at this thread //www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=585228

also color cast is a bit orange, but that may be my screen.

nice lighting, composition. Soft yet precise. I'm not usually fond of animal photos, but this one is for me one of the best in this challenge.
