I'd agree with this, need to bump up the contrast... also, the shot seems too "posed" and too far off to the top right... also you have shadows on the bottom row of chips and nowhere else so it looks out of place.

I would've just tossed the pieces onto the table and shot from table height perspective to try to give this some more interest... good camera work with the lighting, though it's hard to tell what is in focus and what is not because it's so flat

for some reason, since her leg is cut off on the left side, I wonder how it would look if that whole corner were darkened, or cloned out with the red clothl, but I like the soft paint-y style you got here

hmm... a few people have mentioned the shadow on his head, really, most of that is where the paint was too thin, I did the finishing up while he was standing, so I didn't really notice the top of his head, lol, and then the shadow just happened to fall that way, so it was magnified... oh well, guess I could've painted it more once I noticed, but I didn't want to make it longer than it had to be.

Thanks everyone for the comments, lol, and yeah he's get a nice big bald head... perfect for painting

oh, how cute! she looks so precious, her eyes have such a sparkle, I think for this shot, the only thing I would do is smooth out the woman's skin tone on her belly and the two spots on the girl's face
