Buns in the Ovenby JWarren39Comment: Terrific idea. I wish I knew what it was that always betrays the texture of bread in pictures like this. Noise reduction? I bet it's really good bread though. |

Room For Moreby taljComment: Interesting representation of the gulf between the content of this picture and bread. Very stylish and should look good in a coffee table magazine. |

PB&J BFFby ZeppKashComment: Actually, the little bit of bread that I can see at the top has a very realistic texture. Few entries managed that. The crust doesn't do quite so well and I wouldn't touch the goop in the middle with a ten-foot pole. OK, maybe some of the crust's good. |

Baker'sby taseComment: Nice idea - looks more museum than real and it's a pity about the blown-out highlights |

Break Breadby J-MeComment: Well, it's already sliced. Damned hard to get the texture right on bread, but this is a great job of presenting it as something half way appetising. |

Toasts Readyby yankoComment: Very nice picture of a toaster, but not so good of the things that used to be bread. Loss of texture. Maybe the colour got a bit weirded out by selective desat? |

PB&Jby EstimatedEyesComment: Over-sharp, over-saturated, possibly over-sharpened. I think some American people like the goop that's concealing the bread, but it looks pretty ghastly to me. Nice job of getting the subject isolated from the neautral background. |
