totally wet tulips...by basia03Comment: Nice shot, but my understanding is that "still life" means inanimate (not live)objects. Live flowers are usually not still life. (I hate to be "DNMC guy" but you have to be fair to those who did meet the challenge). Of course, if this is a cut tulip that only looks live, then shame on me. |

Reaching for the Skyby tfarrell23Comment: This is a beautiful shot. The flower is crisp, and the sky is gorgeous with the blue and clouds. Not knowing if the flower is still growing or has been cut makes it hard to know for sure if this is a still life. |
