The blackish parts in the foreground don't really add much to the picture in my opinion. If you take a 3:2 crop instead of 4:3 you can cut off most of it, and also move the "horizon" out of the center by the same operation (I'm not against a centered horizon if it works well for a shot, but I think this one is better with the horizon (or the shore of the lake) a bit more down) . Otherwise - great colors, great mood.

I think the low voters were visitors of the Wiesn and it was just too realistic for them - that's exactly what they saw after 3 to 6 Mass leaving the tent, and viewing this sea of lights turned on all those feeling they had and other things they wanted to forget...
As I don't drink that much I didn't have the above side effects from viewing your shot and really like it!
