Is this a homeless person, or someone taking a break after a long walk or did she fall or was she mugged? It's a nice cropping but if you're wanting to encourage or motivate the reader it has to have a defined story and this one leaves too many possibilities. Also, if it's a picture of a homeless person and your message is go to college that seems a bit judgemental doesn't it? I mean you don't know the circumstances of the persons life. They may have a degree and had a bad card dealt to them in life and lost everything. College doesn't hold all the answers. However, because I kindof like the crop and to show I'm not a completely hartless person I'm giving you a 6

maybe make the color in the flower a bit more vibrant and less flat feeling. It's a beautiful flower with tons of folds, show them off.

Maybe try it with the old side shadowed that way it'll look more real and less like theator makeup. Otherwise this is a great idea, the method of lighting just bugs me.

wow this is morbid :) interesting idea. The only technical thing is that there is really harsh light on the arms making them way toooo white. However, it does give it that been dead a while ghostly hue if you have an open mind to it :D
