What?by msdoubletroubleComment: Awwwww how cute! I like the color tones - especially on the back and the bokeh is very nice. DOF is very cool too. My eyes would prefer at least part of the squirrel to be in sharper focus. Great border and nicely composed. I didn't vote on this image. |

Tigerlilyby taljComment: Beautiful shot and has a fabulous Natalya sort of feel to it! Very clean with lovely colors. Very well done and a rockin' score to boot! Congratulations! Edit - forgot to mention that I didn't vote on this one either so nothing to share there. Message edited by author 2007-06-10 15:06:49. |

"Oh give me land, lots of land and the starry skies above... don't fence me in..." by taljComment: Fantstic colors and a very nice composition. Perfectly titled. Love the clouds too. Wee bit on the grainy side and I'm afraid I agree with those who don't care for the border. Looks like you possibly did some sharpening or other editing after bordering resulting in the slight halo. Beautiful landscape though and I think you chose the perfect perspective for your shot. I didn't vote on this image. |

The Scarlet Letterby rinacComment: Great slight tones of color in this image. I even like the grainy mapped look (and I'm pretty finicky about that style). It works well here. Your "A" is perfect. Nice dreary sort of feel to the lighting - just as this subject matter should be depicted. I didn't vote on this. |

mangoby rinacComment: Vibrant and lovely. Water droplets rock here of course! Lovely score to boot! I didn't vote on this. |

lifeby rinacComment: Wild color! I never would of guessed that it wasn't due to heavy-handed editing. Amazing. Good choice to make the back blue. I think my eyes are missing at least one area of very clean focus. I didn't vote on this. |

Dihydrogen monoxideby rinacComment: Cool shot. I like the blue and I think the DOF you chose was just right. I see your point about the subject being a little boring but that's where I think the DOF bails it out and makes it a keeper. Definitely a good move in how you sized the droplets - adds interest as well. Cute title! The scientist in me appreciates it! |

Golden Eyeby rinacComment: It's really a shame you got rid of the "monkey poo yellow/brown" - it's my favorite. Isn't that a crayola crayon color? : ) Very nice shot and a terrific score. Congratulations! Brilliant greens and an interesting little model. Well done. I didn't vote in this challenge. |

Eiffel Eiffelby scarbrdComment: Back to comment. This shot is so much fun! I love that you got just the right distance that your "Eiffels" are the same size. Nice focus. Great idea. Gave this an 8 earlier this week. |

Simultaneous Strikesby chip_kComment: It amazes me how folks get shots of lightning and to get a great "double take" lighning shot to boot! What are the odds?! Very well done and pleasant to look at. I love the trees in the foreground too. Back to bump you up to 9. |
