Gorgeous! I love the rich green - the funky cool tree - and that you chose to include only enough sky to draw attention to the great topography. Some landscape shots are lovely simply because the landscape is lovely. This is an example of a landscape that is nice but was captured in such an artistic way that it becomes more than it's inherent beauty. Great job - adding to favorites.

This is beautiful. Perfect timing and perfect composition - even though my eyes are drawn to the trees because of the lighting - silhouette effect - the fenceline along the horizon is a pleasing secondary focus.

I think you are right about the "too tight" comment - I think that would have helped - too tight makes it harder to tell that the hand belongs to a small child. I do, however. respectfully disagree with those who recommended getting rid of the hand. I believe the hand is the charm...it's what tells the story of "I'm a kid and I hate peas". I think a black or solid gray road with yellow stripes would have helped to clean up the pic a bit. Overall, I think the voters were a wee bit harsh on this one...pea lovers! Good idea and I look forward to seeing your future entries.
