Ponder the Thoughtby msdoubletroubleComment: I like the sepia tones and your model's facial expression in this shot. It is a tad soft but that happens with these low lighting conditions...very difficult. I wonder if bringing out the blacks in Selective Color would have given this a stronger silhouette sort of look without ruining the background tones...probably not. Woe to Basic Editing! : ) |

Graceby msdoubletroubleComment: Oh what a sweet little face. Something about her eyes makes her look older her years. I like the b&w and the contrast - maybe bringing out the blacks even more would be nice. About your score...I didn't vote in this challenge but I think that a wee bit sharper focus would have given you a boost and aside from that, it's the face of a child and for some reason the voters are often harsh on pic's of children. I don't understand it either! Big heartless meanies!! |

Floral Awakeningby taljComment: Lovely colors and I like to diagonal line. Pleasing light, shadow, and background. Very nicely done. From one of your twenty-eight 7's. |

Sneaker Familyby jfwolpertComment: OH! This was yours Jude?! I loved this during voting. It is so cute and a great perpective. Very well composed too and perfect in b&w! This really should have garnered a better score. From one of your thirteen 7's. Nicely done! |

Ice Flowersby jfwolpertComment: Very pretty Jude and a good idea too. I really like the reflections and the soft pink tones. The composition and perspective are well done. Don't forget - I think you can clone out sensor dust in basic editing rules now - not that it's really significant in your shot. Rockin' score sister!! And look at your score from commenters and no camera! No cameras are often hard to please. Congratulations! Very creative & well done! |

"Help...I'm melting..."by taljComment: HAHAHA! How cute! I didn't vote in this challenge so I'm seeing this for the first time. That's not a self portrait is it?? : ) I know I've felt kind of like that this week! |

Edible Awningby rinacComment: Woe to those poor people who did not "see ice" in this shot...apparently deprived of imitation fruity deliciousness as children. And to the "it doesn't appear to honor winter" comment, I send out a hearty "huh?" (interesting read on the challenge description). Lovely colors Rina. |
