Safe!by APComment: I like the photo although the focus is a little soft, but the action in the backround is kind of distracting... |

Ashby DJLubaComment: This reminds me of a structure at the Mt Vernon Estate. I think George Washington designed a horse driven wheat threshing room that had a roof like this. I see you are from Virginia, so I was wondering if this is related???
Great image, by the way. I thought this would do better in the challenge.

Meditationby BobsterLobsterComment: I gave this a 10 and expected it to win. I think this was my favorite shot in the challenge. Well done!

Perfectly Vibrantby K-RobComment: I remember this sunset! I didn't have my camera with me, but I did get to enjoy it, if not capture it! Very nice! |

white wineby ursulaComment: I think we have a winner! I predict you will take the blue! I hope I'm right, as I believe this is better than any other shot in the challenge by leaps and bounds! You have a couple of dust spots on your sensor, but with basic editing, you can't really do much. 10 from me!

Finally.....by Beach_melComment: I love the crop on this one. In the thumbnail, it just looks like a girl without a shirt. Viewed at full size and seeing the baby in the lower right corner explains your wonderful smile, and makes the image magical in a way. I have three boys, and I had considered doing a group shot of them as my 'indirect' self portrait. It was my first and favorite idea, but I didn't think it would go over well with the voters. I'm glad to see someone included their child in their shot. That sort of makes it a Self Portrait and a Half. Congrats on a wonderful image.

Boxesby utroComment: OK, this gets a good score for originality. This is very fun. You are about to lose your lens cap, not that I'm looking at your rear end or anything... |

It's Probably Meby arnitComment: This is one of my favorites in the challenge! The image is quirky enough, but the title is like a cherry on top for the humor! It makes me laugh out loud! Your expression is great, and the shallow depth of field works well here (I usually don't like it this narrow for a portrait). Your lighting is perfect as well. Bumping this up to a 10. Good Luck. By the way, my first thought was that Clay Aiken was participating this week! |
