Sunk in the Salton Seaby kgerendaComment: Certainly harsh! For my tastes I would have pushed the levels slightly higher to get some true whites to appear - not many, but some of the salt edges around the sink for example.

Harsh Environmetsby martinkulikComment: Interesting entry - certainly harsh! My preference would be to have a sharper depth of field (f/16 for example) in this shot, so more of the infestation is in focus. Good tight crop - it works well to show this harsh environment. |

In The Face Of Adversityby QuasimojoComment: Excellent treatment of the clouds - makes for a really good backdrop to the foreground colors and subject of the image. Excellent use of blur to convey the motion of the bus. One of my favorites of the challenge. |

Viking Ruins in the Land of Fire and Iceby gibaComment: Capturing the beagle in the entrance is a nice touch! Interesting composition, perhaps a bit too much color saturation in parts of the house and foreground for my tastes however, but the blues of the sky turned out quite nice! I like it. |
