I'd really like to see this in portrait orientation so you could include all of your hand (oh, yeah... your pose is very good, too) and at least the feeling of the top of your head, Even if it blends with the bg, I'd like there to be just a little more room. Digging for nits, I could do without the clasp on the beads, and the highlights on the glasses show some oversharpening. Very nice work. |

| 03/18/2002 11:56:00 AM | when i think i'm fatterby karutuneComment: Here's an image you can fall into. The depth of field is huge. Great colors, too. The toes of your sneaks are a little burnt out, and I could do witout the camera strap, but what's lacking technically is offset by the positives. Nice work. |
| 03/18/2002 11:51:00 AM | T.V. Bobby bobgaitherComment: You don't *look* like a transvestite. ;-) I kind of like the idea of you and the tube, but I think you'd have a stronger image without the overexposure on your face and reflection on the screen. How about tuning the tv to some static, and using a polarizer? I'd take the speaker and candles off the set, too. |
| 03/18/2002 11:41:00 AM | rockstar rockstar where have you beenby heartsdivideComment: Hmmm... there's a whole lot "wrong" with this picture - flat tones, cropped head and hand, all that space on the R, shadows on the cheesy backdrop, etc., but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on the motion blur. That said, it's got that "so bad it's good" thing going on in a way. Kind of like the cr@p production values on Bob Marley recordings - adds flavor. Cropped square from the right and with more contrast and a gamma adjustment, you'd have a nice back for a CD. Need a bass player? |
| 03/18/2002 11:24:00 AM | dole, ispod mojih nogu... by gingibashComment: fantastic bit of perspective play! your pose is interesting, too - introspective with a sense of motion. i wouldn't mind the composition a little more off-center - maybe 15% off the left added to the right so you'd get more of the dwarf city and get yourself onto a third. |
