Metro Sleepby Skippy_NFComment: For my tastes you could have increased the contrast to get the blacks blacker, and levelled the horizon so it didn't slope down to the right. |

The Silent Maskby ContraComment: Nice enough but I feel it's a little bit dull - I'd like the white to be a bit brighter and it bothers me slightly that it's not square, it's leaning down to the left. |

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhby aKiwiComment: Technically good and a good composition, but I find the necklace slightly distracting. The other thing that bothers me a little bit is the lack of realism - If I were telling someone to "shhhh", my finger would be pressed against my lips, not hovering in front of them. |

A Moment for the Fallenby toddheadComment: I like this. You've captured a moment of peace very well. However I don't like that you've cropped off part of the face of the gentleman in the background. |

Sunrise in the hillsby ZerosizComment: It's a beautiful image so I've given you a good score.
As a scene to invoke a feeling of silence it fails for me because my personal experience of such scenes here in the UK is that it's impossible to escape the noise of humanity - there will always be the noise of traffic, overflying aircraft or people talking. If you didn't have that here I'm envious. |

Death Without a Screamby Nathanael_GComment: Your title put me in mind of two things:- A report several years ago that claimed plants "talk" to each other, and the book "Day of the Triffids" where the plants do talk to each-other.
As for the image, I like the tone of it as, although it's dark, that seems to fit the subject. My one objection is the petals "falling" upwards which make it a less pleasing image to look at. |

What Once Was a Homeby malenurse1979Comment: I like the tonal range you've capture here, there are some lovely textures, but the composition doesn't appeal to me. It's too tight on the building for my taste. |
