Quite lovely. Light is handled well, as is depth of field.

My screen is a photographic editors thing a ma jig, Hubby bought it for a present, I've noticed it's brighter than some ... On my screen the Daisy is blown out in several places... but because your screen may not show this, I'm going to vote like it isn't blown.... and I think it's a STUNNNNNING Image !!! Hows that for long winded?

Voted earlier coming back to comment and bump up.

Some really nice details captured in the center portion of flower. I like that the petals show more depth and details in the redo than the original. B&W tones are nice and dynamic. Just one small critique, watch the lighting that it doesn't blow out the highlights on a light colored object. The bottom half of the daisy's petal's loose some of the wonderful detail due to blown highlights. Using a higher aperture to let less light in and maybe have the histogram function on your camera on so that you can readily see by the graph if it is too light or too dark.

Comment by Cory:
Not quite sharp enough - the sensor spots are totally insignificant, but the slight tilt to the stem, and the lack of sharpness are the issues that appear to my eye.

..

Otherwise though, really it's a pretty darn nice image.. Wonderful gradient on the background and really good even lighting on the subject. A bit of editing and this will really stand out for sure.
