the shadows are terrible, you need to be aware of the background and the lighting. I guess this is taken with a flash, and it really shows. Sorry to be so brutal.

this has some sad overtones with the Morcombe Bay Cockle Pickers incident, but back to the image...

my feeling is that the brown and the blue don't really work together too well. I have a suspicion that this would be very good indeed in monochrome. It might give the sky some 'power' which it lacks in colour.
