Oooh, a very interesting shot. I feel that something's a bit off on the composition - maybe too much negative space? But it's not enough to be a big concern. Definitely love the "figure" on the top left.

Haha, I love the title. This is an amusing photo that has nothing wrong with it technically as far as I can see. I like how the shoes are not completely symetric and I like the location of the flames.

Somewhat lacking in impact - a different background color would be provide a better contrast, I feel - but for some reason this shot appeals to me. I think it might be the angle of the lighter.

So you're probably getting marked down by a lot of people since it's a candid.... but I think it is a fantastic candid. I love the colors and the lighting. Gives it a very lively feel, which is appropriate for a party. I like the interesting angle that you chose for the cake. I think you did a great job with the timing of the shot, having some candles blown out and others still lit but obviously being blown out. I do not mind at all that the head of the person is cropped out, and I actually sort of like it this way (more focus on the cake, and therefore the "fire", and less focus on a particular person.)

Definitely meets the challenge. Visually it is not an exciting image - perhaps focusing more on one burner/flame would have helped, or giving the shot a different angle.

This very much does not meet the challenge to me.

I'd try to be more helpful but since I've seen another image almost identical to this one in another recent challenge I'm a bit confused.

Candlelight Reflections

I like the image as it is, but would be very interested to see how it might look with the reflection part cropped off. I know the reflections are sort of the point, hence the title, but I just *adore* the top part of the image and think it could do very well on its own. Not marking down or anything for that though, just would be curious to see.
