Partridge in a pear treeby Rino63Comment: Didn't think it fit at first but went back to the link in the challenge description - said the first day could be symbolic of Jesus, so I think this photo definitely meets the challenge. And that makes me happy too as I think the shot is just lovely. |

AA Expressby De SousaComment: Cute!!!! Love the idea and I think it was executed pretty well. Might have prefered it to be a bit more colorful but that's a nitpick really. |

Terrorby idnicComment: Yeeeeeeeep! Scary - very effective. Maybe a bit more widening of the eyes would make it seem more real? Otherwise I think this is very fantastic. |

A tree's life is like some of oursby justamistereComment: Okay maybe I will be the first to say this because I know the reception this type of thing usually gets here but... I LOVE THE POWERLINES. I think they beautifully mirror the lines at the bottom - angles and repeating line patterns in both the top and bottom add interest for me. |

Tempestby elsapoComment: Reminds me of Japanese scroll paintings (don't know if that's what they are called for real). Great image. |

Nativity Sceneby faeryComment: I've only gone through a fifth of the entries so far. But so far this is vastly superior to anything else I have seen. This entry fits the challenge so nicely as well as having technicals that underscore the theme. In addition, there is a powerful emotional impact here. Good luck in this challenge! |

"Another Brick in the Wall" meets "Dark Side of the Moon"by saiphfireComment: OHH! I was looking at this forever until I figured out what it was. That's really really REALLY cool. Composition (I love the top right corner) and the perspective/lighting illusion especially are just AWESOME. Back to look at this again and I have to say that this is one of the most amazing shots I have EVER seen. |
