I'm trying not to be a dnmc nazi.. but I do not really feel that a circle shape is key, even though the objects are encircling. I see almost more of a triangle type shape formed by the objects. But I do think this is a great photo in its own right.

Oh gosh. This photo reminds me of John de Lancie's character Q from Star Trek (various series..) Very serious sometimes but a hidden smirk not far from the surface. I like how you balanced the playfulness of dots with a serious expression - I think it works well.

Personally I think I would have voted a couple points higher without the ladybug. I don't know why but it really distracts me. I think I just love the beautiful patterns created by the black and white. I'm still not giving a horrible score though, because I do like the image overall.

Normally I do not care for shots that look as set up as this. But I think you made it look elegant. Like, it being obviously staged does not distract, as in many other shots, but it adds, because it seems more like you are portraying a emotion or a state of mind rather than a specific situation or event. Hope this makes sense - what I am trying to say is this is awesome!!

Looked better in thumbnail size. I think it's because the textures of the two elements are just so different. In any case, I do like this - concept is awesome and composition is grat. Also, really awesome watch :-)
