Trading Post - Good to see you back - I have been missing your work. Good perspective shot, fisheye works pretty good here as well. I like the color choice and the subjct matter has pretty interesting lines. The detail on the oustide of the bridge seems a bit blown out but I am not sure what you could have done about that. So close to 6 - always rough to be short les sthan a tenth to get up to that next digit.

Trading POst - Nice shot. These are so tough to catch in full frame. You caughta nice combo of fireworks and the star is cool. Had it not been so tight and out of frame you would have scored better I believe. A tweak inthe sat onthe red channel may have helped it be a bit morevibrant as well. Good shot overall though.

Trading Post - I know this is basc editing but I think it would be possible to use thos erules and make this image stand out a bit more. You hav egood colors to work with and pretty good detail in the boat. I may play with this one a bit if you dont mind. Fits the challenge but overall isnt a stand out image as it stands to help it garner the higher scores.

Trading Post - COngrats on a new high score and your breakthrough into the 6s. This is a beautiful shot. Nice colors overall, with advanced editing you may have been able to play with them som emore. A bit soft on the boats, but what can you do with the 20 sec exposure. Next time maybe try to get in the tops of all the masts and less water below to frame it in just right. The starbursts look nice and the water has a great texture to it. I am not sure what time you took the shot but I would guess if you had hung out another hour or so you may have gotten some richer colors in your skyline. I found that there is about a ten to fifteen minute window of the truly amazing stuff and everythign around that is just good. But again - great shot and congrats on your score, PB and a wonderful placing amongst the 375+ entries. WEll done!

Trading Post - I was one of your 7s. I liked the duotone color choice, the angle, the simplicity of the shot and the general detail of the brick wall and iron door. I felt this was just an overall pleasing shot without any extra silly bells and whistles. It worked well. My only comment would be to straighten up the shot so the poles were perpendicular to the pictures edge.

Trading Post - Not a bad shot here. Nice to havethe land in thepic to give extra dimension. The framing of the fireworks works well here and the fireworks themselves are fairly attractive. Maybe tweaking the hue and saturation to give a more vibrant color to the streams would hav ebeen nice. But a good shot overall.

Trading Post - Rough shot here. I see what you were shooting for but it just looks thrown together real quick without alot of thought. Irregular spacing between the three with no flow, odd choice of candles (2 being almost similar and the third way different). Not really a good crop. The focus seems off on the whole pic. Just not good overall IMO. Maybe you could fil lout some of the details on the hows and whys of your shots. That might help us see where you are coming frm and what youare attempting to accomplish.

Nice colors and sharpness. Easily fits the challenge (and then some). A slightly different layout (maybe not having the bottom corners of any cards showing or a smoother fan) may hav ehelped. Goo djob technically overall just maybe not as interesting enough to get the higher votes.
