Interesting pose but the lighting and colors are pretty poor. My first thought on this was wondering what it would look like if the levels were dropped and he was just a silhouette. I tried it out and it looks pretty funky. Thebackground color turns a cool blue/purple and the pose looks pretty neat although a bit abstract. Overall maybe a bitmore editing to make him pop out of the picture.

I like this one. A nice candid kind of feel to it. The b&w works well. Maybe he thought he was taking a picture of you as well.

Now this is pretty. Great colors and an awesome reflection. My onoy suggestion would be to straighten the horizon. It dips to the right a bit. Other than that really nice shot.

From thumbnail this looked interesting. Opening it up though it didnt grab me like I thought it would. I am not digging the squiggly lines. With no rhythm to them they just look messy. The crop seems odd as well. The negative space to the right doesnt seem to fit in well or be balanced. Not one of my favs from your portfolio.

Nice colors, clouds and in general vastness to the shot. PLaying around with it on my monitor I think a slightly tighter crop on the bottom would be nice. I like the angle of the shadow on "lake man" that you caught. Nice landscape.

You caught good smoothness on the water with the long shutter speed but the rocks seemed to have lost their sharpness as well. They seem a bit soft. Maybe a slight tweak on saturation to make them stand out a bit stronger. I dont do alot of long shutter speed shots so maybe these issues are all with that. Cool waterfall though.

Very nice. Great capture with a candid feel. The b&w works great and you caught great detail even with the challenge of a manual focs lens. You and your dad should be proud of this shot. Makes me want ot go and take more pics of my dad.

I would love to see the original on this. The processing, although intentionally heavy, seems too heavy. I think it works better on his face rather than on his hand - it looks a bit odd there. Good gaze and an overall nice portrait. What does Jeff think of it?

This should be the winner. Great everything - colors, editing, pose, gaze, concept. Amazing detail and just a beautiful portrait. Great work - bumping up 2 to a 10.

Very nice portrait. I knid of wish the rest of her veil was in the shot as it feels cropped a bit too tightly. Overall though - nice softness and detail. 7
