White beauty is dead on. This is lovely. Great detail and clarity on the front flower andthe soft blurred background really completes/compliments the image well. A far cry from so many of the flower shots that feel like they were placed somewhere just for the bokeh effect without any other purpose. Lovely lines and colors. One of my top picks of the challenge. Bumping up to a 9 for now. I will most likely be back to finish this one off.

This is nice. While maybe not bokeh in a traditional sense or how most people want it I like it alot. Nice DOF on the spider and the nice soft blend of colors and loose patterns in the blurred background really compliment him well. Very nice capture. Bumping up 1.

Well this is just lovely. Beautiful soft colors, excellent patterns, great detail on the strip in the middle and both the blurred foreground and background just really help make the shot complete wihtout being overpowering or silly. This feels like an Ursula shot all the way. Excellent work and bumping up 1 for now. I will probably be back again to top it off.

Great colors, nice detail ont he forefront, cool patterns and the varying degrees of blur headed back surely add to the impact of the image. This has a feel of an Elsapo image. Very nice work.

Green Rotary

This shot is cool and different. The green colors and rust are a great compliment. A touch of foreground blur and the deepening blur going back really enhance the image well. Has a funky abstract kind of feel to it even though you can tell its a piece of machinery. Good eye and nice capture.

Those arent Smarties. At least not in America. Nice lines and patterns inthe background that really pull this image. The two up front seem a bit soft and the shadows arent the greatest. The colors dont feel as vibrant as they might have been which could have offered more bang. Ditching that far left line and replacing it with the red from the right may have been nice as well. A shame to hide that color off to the side.

I found that shooting these guys is quite nice as they will just sit there in the water and not move for quite a while. Good color and clarity on fishy and the blurred background works well to complete the shot. You even scored a couple light circles. Nice shot overall but maybe lacking some of the WOW power of other entries.

I am a sucker for a clean cat shot. Great clarity and detail on kitty and the blurred background lines and patterns offer a good contrast to the curves of kitty. A pleasant shot overall but maybe lacking some of the serious WOW power of other entries.

Light Up The Night...

Well you have the little light circles working. Good crisp foreground image. This has a slight feel of a drink add and I guess the bokeh aspect would just be some artistic flair to it. Clean shot and fits the challenge well but doesnt really leave me feeling anything in particular good or bad.
