Joey L.by librodoComment: Interesting choices for you to go with. A guy instead of a girl. Muted tones instead of vibrant colors. And even with the "veil", you chose one with no color or distinct pattern. And yet it still has your fingerprints all over it Manny. I am looking forward to seeing how you fare against all of us copycats. |

UNVEILEDby Breeee123Comment: Love the lens flare. Seems a bit too much canvas on the left, but a lovely image overall. |

The eyes have itby Silent-ShooterComment: Hey Steve. I voted this a 6. The good - your model certainly has lovely eyes. They don't feel overly pimped out but pretty much just right. Her makeup job is lovely as well (good match with the veil) and the doodad on her forehead is a nice touch. IMO a very good edit job on her face. Bouncing back and forth from another image it seems that her skin tone may be just a tad bit on the orange side. The indifferent - her pose for some reason just feels a bit static and unconnecting. It's not terrible, but she just doesn't seem to be connecting with me. Feels a bit too generic and unemotional. Maybe some slight angle so that she is pushed into having to look into the lens, either from slightly above or from an angle rather than just setting her right in front. Librodo often comes at you from an interesting angle. The bad - that green is wretched on my monitor. You have this lovely model with great sharpness and color balance between her eyes and the veil and then this bright flourescent green background that totally for the most part steals the attention away from her eyes. It is just too much. My choice probably would have been a darker more muted background. Black probably would have been very nice to make sure that the focus was directed towards her eyes and the lovely colors of purple rather than away. Hope that helps. |

Windows to the Soulby RmacComment: Very nice to see something a bit different yet still fall well within the challenge. Where many have made up a person or create a character to look like someone Librodo would shoot (myself included), you shot a person who was already there. I don't get any feeling that this person is not who you are portraying them to be. I voted the first time around on my laptop (which was a mistake) but going through now and taking a bit more time gets you a bump up of 2 and in my top 5 for the challenge. |

I colori del godimentoby h2Comment: I really thought you were gonna score much higher with this one. But hey, I am not complaining. ;)
So how about a little side goal to reach beyond just getting ahead of each other. My eye is set on 2nd place this year. I have this desire to get in between this relationship that scalvert and irenem have had a hold on for so long. Think either of us can make it by Dec 31, 2011? |

Distant Memories of Fallby MargaretNetComment: I would love to have this image as my entry. Would make a fabulous print. I hope that your 6.19 is the lowest you see on this image all week. Certainly deserves more IMHO. |
