Good general image. I think the light on the left side is a bit harsh on her face and shoulder but could be easily fixed in post process. But the overall lighting is well done and the image appears clean. Not a wow image but one that is well done.

Blur and high key are friends of mine, but I wish there was more to the image or a tighter crop to really bring the focus on the girl. The left side just doesnt help the image IMO. But kudos for submitting something different. While you may not get a high score you sure will reach a more devoted group of viewers who crave something outside the DPC Free Study box.

Hey Gary! (Spongebob reference) My initial thought on this was that I wanted to see more of his shell. His eyes poking out are fun but the crop just seems a bit too tight to do your model justice.

Royal Purple

Nice shade of purple and a pretty clean image, but the shot overall seems lacking. It doesnt grab my attention. The border is a bit heavy for it as well.

Fun capture but the processing seems to take away from the power of the image. The brightness around the edges of the beasts is a bit too intense and the tonemapped feel doesnt do it any good IMO. I think I would prefer a more natural processing and color to it.

Swinging into Fall

I really like these kind of shots. Love the odd angle, the color sgive a great fall feel to it, nice clarity on the child and the sun peeking through adds a nice element. Bumping up to8.
