Chicago's Bustleby saved_by_graceComment: Good sense of motion, though I would have liked to have seen the train a bit sharper. I like the colour too. |

Jumpby DAWARComment: I would probably have said this was a "motion blur" shot, rather than a "motion panning" shot. Also, I would probably have entitled it "Fall" rather than "Jump" as they seem to be travelling down and this is where the space is. While it is a stylish image, it is hard to tell whether it was a panning shot went wrong as the subject is not sharp, or it was supposed to be a motion blur shot - which is not really what was asked for. |

The Dashby NobodyComment: A good effort at meeting the brief. The runner could have been sharper and ideally more to the right in the shot to give them more room to run into. Also perhaps if you had caught them on the opposite stride you might have got more of the expression on their face. |

The Bulletby Pug-HComment: The train is sharp, so good technique, but I think the the lines in front-of the train spoil the image somewhat. |

windby charlievComment: The fuschia buds at the front need to be sharper. |

Streakingby loriprophotoComment: A good turn of speed from a three-legged horse - but it is just not sharp enough. |

almost landingby rjlacsonComment: Since it is in the sky the plane is clearly moving, but this looks like a shot taken at a fast shutter speed which has frozen the moment, rather than a motion panning shot. I have to say that I'm not a great fan of the colouring either. |

pressureby SkipComment: A good capture. I would like to have seen more of the concentration on the face of the player in white and ideally the ball to be in sharp focus too. |

Lightscapeby Andres ArangoComment: This is an interesting photo and it does include motion, but in my mind it does not "bring out the foreground" as a recognizable object. It may be that your interpretation of the challenge is different from mine, but in not capturing the foreground it looks like the panning went wrong - too fast or too slow. |
