This bridge is no longer in use - the road that used to lead into the bridge is grown up with these twigs/branches so unless I chopped them down (which I didn't want to do) they're going to be in the photo. I tried it in B&W and couldn't decide which I liked best. The outtakes are here

This is an excellent photo, although a bit too small. I don't think it meets the challenge, though. It was supposed to show something "from above" and this is taken straight across.

You actually made it look rather nice - not gloppy and muddy like it really is!! Congrats on that!!

I'm always intrigued by this river... the mud, the color of the water, the path down the middle that the tide carves. And it's even more interesting when it's iced up.
