Some jpg artifacts in the window frame (you must be using a camera like mine!). The lighting could have been a bit more even, also. Interesting interpretation of the challenge. I do like how the images in the window seem to have a glowing effect, though.

This is a great photo, not sure whether or not how much I like the grain in the sky, although adds a bit of a surreal look to the photo. Composition, contrast, lighting, addition of birds for perspective and interest very good. The focus on the front looks either off or poorer due to light source, but it is still overall a very nice photo.

I think I would have liked this with a less black frame.. Although I think you idea was to help pull out the window as the focal point, I think it would have worked better without the frame or with the frame just slightly lighter and less thick. Would liked window this to be more not on center, also, although it's only a minor flaw in this particular shot, imo.

Lovely capture! Good use of framing, contrast and color vs desaturated images in the shot. Looks like you might have upped the blue, and it works well. Maybe just a little bit of grain showing, but nothing major.

I love these spiral shots. The only minor thing I might want to change is to darken up that glow just a little, which I know was likely difficult due to the setting of the shot.

Very artistic interpretation of the challenge, like the use of desaturated area to emphasize the window. I think I might have liked it better without the patterning in the window panes as it's hard to figure out what that is about.

Meeting the challenge: Excellent! This is definitely identifiable as milk or cream and you certainly "got" it!!

Composition: Good use of thirds, use of dark background to contrast against the milk (although it would have been nice to have been a little more solid) The chain is a little bit distracting but not a major problem. It would have been nice to see one eye to enhance the expression, but I certainly understand pouring milk over oneself in the middle of winter might not justify 100 shots of the moment ;)

Technical Quality: Again, I would like to have seen the background more solid. The capture of the moment is excellent, the skin tones good and the focus is very good. It appears you used a perfect shutter speed to stop the movement of the milk, and I love the splat on the nose! I would also like the background to have been a less speckled in addition to being a solid color. You might have been able to improve on this with a levels adjustment. Good focus and depth of field, also.

Creativity: Excellent, I think I might have called this "human sacrifice ritual for DPC", but the the satirical title fits well, too. Unlike some other comments, I think there is enough of your face showing to communicate a feeling of "arggh" during this shot.

Overall: Nice shot, fits well with the challenge, with background change, would have been at least an 8 for me.
