I am guessing that you sprayed water on a mirror for the background effect. This mirror image of each drop caused the shot to look like it is very much out of focus when in fact it is not. I think larger water drops would help improve this a lot.

Bench Shadow Study

Hello from the Critique Club!

My first impression is that this photo is out of focus. However, spending more time looking at it, I believe that this was amplified by the shadows created by the ripples in the glass of the window. I believe this may have had a large effect on your score. An increas in the DoF might have shapened up the shadows on the floor some.

This shot really lacks any "Wow" factor. It does meet the challenge, but does not do much to impress the viewer so that they would remember your shot after voting. Maybe adding an element that could act as an anchor to this would give the viewer something to focus on, and allow the shadows to bring more interest to that subject.
