We ain't fancy around hereby Yo_SpiffComment: IMO, the cup doesn't help the image at all. I know your what your saying with the title but even the title doesn't really fit. You have the right idea of trying to put something else into the picture but a plastic cup wasn't the right choice.
And why does it look like dried super glue is on that apple or whatever it is? |

Torn and still beautifulby ahjennyComment: I think this shot lacks a lot of contrast. Although you were able to get close to the moth the positioning and the colors of this image lack detail and interest. Good luck though. |

My "Best" are always my children !by kashiComment: The lighting of your background is better than the lighting of your subject. It looks like you are trying to light them both using the same light. By the looks of it I would say that you bounced the light off the ceiling, which in this case you should point the flash straighter up or back up about 4 feet. Not sure what settings you used but I would increase the power of the flash by at least one stop. |

Who You 'Gonna Call?by Hussar1812Comment: Try shooting with a graduated ND filter. this will darken the sky while keeping the lower half of your image bright. This is a great capture but the processing could use a little work. |
