Nice literary title. IMO however this is lacking a little in contrast. The raven is a bit lost against the background. I'd be interested to see the colour version to see if the black stood out more.

Wow! Only thing I'd've done differently would have been to bump up the saturation of the purple sky and the increase the contrast to get the lightning really standing out. Great shot all the same though.
