The age of the dinosaurs was grand, but their disappearance has never really been explained. Global warming or cooling has been put forward as a possible reason for their extinction. Rats eating their eggs as another. Extinction has to be experienced to be fully understood. Perhaps we are getting nearer to an understanding. Even without the rich familiar nostalgia, this image does say something relevant to the times.

All at once, one has to convey the darkness without overwhelming it with exposure and flash. It seems to be all about balance. Easy to make the coloured lights disappear. Certainly helps a little with some fog about. I reckon digital noise helps put over the atmosphere in such settings. Nice set of shots.

HDR hurts my eyes sometimes, especially your aggressive use of this sort of processing here. But the location is simply lovely. The treatment is, well, I cannot really say since your skin might not be thick enough to not be offended. Let me just say that it does not enhance the image, IMO. 4

For the reason that my daughter is an expert in origami, I look more closely. Out of the creased boats in this challenge, yours is far and away the best and most creatively presented. The title is good as well. 8.

To me, a pastoral scene always has some sort of religiosity about it. Your photo contains that feeling as well. You confirm my current opinion, that digital noise is an element to be used in photos. (The outer black border is too heavy for my taste though. It counteracts the passive subtlety of the photo).
