Flowers at the Sanctuaryby KenComment: Digitalis? or foxglove? The spider web is a little distracting - but that is the type of thing one brings back home and finds out later. Green bokeh works. |

Hail the conquering hero!by DemonLlamaComment: An excercise in precision. I like the result. The bokeh is not quite pronounced and I wonder if a different coloured background might have helped - along with some sort of back lighting. It would be nice to make the subject pencil stand out a little better too. 7. |

city scapeby gurlwithapenComment: My favourite of the ones you just posted. High contrast compressed tonality shows the true texture of a city. Message edited by author 2006-06-23 10:41:55. |

Lady on the Rockby Joey LawrenceComment: Reminds me of old, old photos in albums. They sometimes crack after a bit or get torn with handling. Like old hand tools one finds in tag sales, the surfaces worn shiny by human labour is attracive IMO. The trace of human activity - such as a plastered wall - is a subliminal language. You use it well but have a few bits of grammar yet to learn. Message edited by author 2006-06-23 09:50:18. |
