"The two images obviously don't look like they should be together" is the key. But it was a worthwhile experiment that leads to better things. A background would be better without sky; the frame would be better settled on the ground with an appropriate shadow. Get a frame and photograph it in situ and then fill it in as might be. Work from there. Somewhat like this.

It's like abstract art. The colourful plastic fits right in chromatic cacophony. Graffiti is sometimes attractive as a photographic subject but is usually hard to place with other objects. I think this one and Half Pipe are both interesting presentations.
