Taken with the 24-70? rather than the macro lens listed on your profile? I was thinking of buying the 24-70 and am curious. I notice you also have/had the 28-135, which is what I use a lot. The 24-70 was a vast improvement? Nice photo indeed.

As in Christina's World? It's a nice wide scene. Add Christina into it and you would have a very evocative image.

I've never tried doing that. Perhaps have always been more of a fresh tomato addict. It's amazing they don't just rot. As for the challenge, I had difficulty deciphering the multiple light sources. The one that created the highlights seemed so dominant. I just gave you the benefit of the doubt.

Nicely sinister, perhaps. A little peeking going on there - makes for a very nice photo.

Nice range of dark to white there with lots of middle tones too. Herding pigeons is quite a task. But they can make or break a street photo. I have recently taken to carrying a little dried bread in my pockets just in case I need to bribe them ;-)

The ap and shallow depth of field, the relatively hard light all make for excellent form and composition. One of the memorable photos in your folio.

That's a hard call for exposure settings, what with the lights under the underpass. I wonder if you have your white balance settings on tungsten? There's a nice intersection of lines there. Wish the tall tower was not cut off.

Those small Powershots like the A540 make nice little visual notebooks and are fun to play with in manual mode. I think one can get pretty creative with those cameras... Nice photo, BTW.

I rather like this iconic image, though I only gave it a 5 at the time of voting, I have to admit.

A Morris Minor (my family had one a while back). Considered to be rather an 'old lady's car.' ;-)
