That macro lens is indeed one of the best... for close up work and for people too.

Now that is a vignette to get a DQ with ;-) Takes me back in time. The square format works very well.

That (soft top?) Morris Minor going into your ear is just the job. That was why you drove the teacher mad ;-)

I recently sold (stupidly sold) a pair of brass tragedy and comedy masks, antiques. They had plenty of useful emotion related to daily life in God's Country. So I have been looking high and low to find a replacement set of masks - but all I seem to find are these multi-faced brass Buddhas... Your prop is perfect, invaluable. Oh yes, the message is spot on as well. I look out in Brooklyn and all the windows have that eerie blue glow of TV screens... Lucky don't have one here and never had one when growing up so avoided that habit at least...

Your By the Water portfolio has some lovely images in it. This one especially. The lines leading into the landscape and the rushing water all work in harmony. Very nice work.

What a nice Sunday morning feeling in your photo. You captured not only a fine visual image but also an invisible emotion. Well done.

Nicely done. English robins have a certain panache that their North American counterparts do not. Yours is a nice composition.
