kissby RetroesqueComment: You remind me that certain human actions can become iconic. Love. An intimate kiss. A public private moment. The depth of field, large for that lens, suggests a small aperture. It is a useful lens to have for public work, isn't it. |

Coveredby doc_gonzoComment: Back turned to the viewer always seems to provoke a certain feeling - probably different types of feelings dependent on the viewer's day and recent experiences. I learn that this is a tool of composition which can be used to engage, enrage, provoke, or.... a viewer. There's something to learn from in every photo. |

# 4 Ballerinaby SonifoComment: Looking down, in this instance, you teach me, reveals the beautiful diaphanous nature of the tutu. Even if the downward view partially obscures your daughter's face. (One or other of my daughters will say "that's a nice tutu" if they see this photo.) It's a trade off but the image works well. There are trade offs in every photo, I suppose. |

7.52 Hands on hipsby MelethiaComment: The visual puzzle is not immediately attention grabbing - but when you do start to look for that bra, for instance, then you start seeing all sorts of things. I am reminded of those children's picture books in which there is, say, a little mouse on every page and it becomes a game to find it and in doing so one actually reads the book. Nice premium, Deb. |

Lunar Eclipseby kteachComment: Well done. We don't get clear skies down here in the City. But your photo sequence makes up for that ;-) |

A Day At The Racesby sigfussonComment: Now the challenge is over I came back to see what images I really missed out on when voting. Your photo is one of them. For some reason, I can really enjoy the rich colour and movement so much more now that it is not side by side with other challenge photos. |

Lake Raven - Huntsville, Texasby SandyPComment: The right time of day. An hour in the morning is worth two in the afternoon. Not to mention, the early bird... To capture feelings and transmit is high art and you did in this photo. |

Winter Light - WK07by DJWoodwardComment: You captured the snowiness of snow and the winteryness of winter. To capture these fleeting characteristics of objects, materials, and even seasons is an art. This is a fine image. I learn something here for sure. |

week-7.jpgby LanndonKaneComment: Turning a common object into something else - at least what at first glance seems to be something else - is a useful tool. When to use that tool is the question. |
