I think this photo is glorious. It's like an advert for the new age that is coming upon us. I just wish Sara was in there too. In my opinion, the grain/noise really enhances the image. Most people go for a very smooth effect in processing sunsets. I guess they feel that smooth, tranquil, and hypnotizing the viewer all go together. The impressionist painters did not do smooth though and they were very successful.

Well done on your first entry. I remember letting lose a little over a year back. I learned a lot from that first one and have learned quite a bit here at DPC since then. Have fun and keep shooting. In NYC we have a lot of people covering downtown and the Brooklyn Bridge - not to mention all of those out of towners who interlope in from time to time and take shots of our territory - but few people covering the GW and uptown. Looking forward to seeing more of your work...
