This is a gerat concert shot.
COMPOSITION- I think the composition for a concert shot like this is right on. You've captured him clearly in focus and the lighting on him is great. I just wish that the white lights in the shot were some funky color but you didn't have much control about that. I think it would have looked a little neater too with less of a crop to get his whole guitar in the shot, well just the long part of it, I don't know what that's called. I like where your cut off the bottom.

BACKGROUND- There isn't anything distracting in it. I like the faint outline of those bars in it. It fits with this shot. I just wish again that the lights weren't white.

CAMERA WORK- You've used a great aperature with this shot. There is a slight blur to his hand and that could have been fixed with a little faster shutter speed. (See my opinion down below) Everything is steady and straight.

DIGITAL PROCESSING- You've done a great job in compressing this. I don't see any of the "jaggies" or anything like that. The only thing I'm not sure about is his shirt. It looks kinda flashy wavy or something. I don't know if it's natural or the digital did that.

MY OPINION- I think this shot is an awesome concert shot. I took some for a band and it was hard to get them right. I think I only had one that turned out half way decent. I like the motion blur on his hand. Some might not but I think that it shows part of the show. Congradulations on this hard kind of shot to get. You've done it great.

Great shot and idea for the photojournalism challenge.
COMPOSITION- You've got a great eye for putting this together. The angle you've chose is great in showing these plants. The red and green plants are perfect colors for the holiday. Your DOF is perfect and I like your detail on the plants.

BACKGROUND- I think that you could have cropped down just a little lower. Those christmas tree boxes are just kinda in the way back there. So just a tad above the flowers in the back because that lower box looks fine in the shot, it's just the upper one that seems messy.

CAMERA WORK- Your camera work is great. You've chosen a great aperature for your DOF. The front leaves on the plant are a little bright. I wonder if a quicker shutter speed would have lowered that some.

DIGITAL PROCESSING- You've done great on resizing this and not having any artifacts or distortions. Colors are great. I wonder if you could have done a little more saturation to bring out the colors a little more and the lighting for the leaves.

MY OPINION- At first when I saw this I thought that it was just a normal shot of some plants. Getting to think about the shot I could see how it fits in the photojournalism challenge. I like that it wasn't the norm and it was an interesting take on the challenge. And it is something that was news worthy cause last week had "BLACK FRIDAY" and if you were out shopping that day it was hectic.

Great shot of the meteors. That was my first time trying to take some night shots and I had over 80 shots and only like 3 had anything in them and then it wasn't as bright as this one. The moon sucked that night didn't it. 10 for the difficulty and the great shot. Jubei
