I like this best of the four. There isn't that "snapshot" feel to it and yet it could have been a polaroid with a flashlight. Very retro/spooky feel.
Makes me wonder too, what is above you? Is it attacking you? Rescuing you? Y'know, it sucks me in and makes me want to stare.

Exactly what I was thinking after reading your description. Diane, your pics are always clean, crisp, in focus and all the technical things are done perfectly. More than that there is a definite style and fun to your pics. I just love them! But yeah, take a break. When you come back you might have something pop into your head that you missed before. Happens to me ALL THE TIME!

And I love the light coming up under you chin and neck. Great processing no matter what you say. LOL

I agree with TC that without the description I would have simply thought it was a pretty cool picture of a door handle with a shadow face looking at it. Like the textures you've added and the "duotone" effect of the fridge's lighting.

I don't know why you don't like this shot. The lighting is all but perfect though the image itself might be sharper. The light brings out what the image is about.

This would be a wicked pic for stock. Same as your other one.
