Always Refreshing, Always Coca-Cola!by The KidComment: Nice use of overexposure, I would have liked to have the whole cup in the frame, is it cropped out for a reason? (the pixel dimension is only 500 across). Nice product shot -7- Mav |

Nautilus Dish and Soapby mjdamoneComment: Clever idea, not sure about the lighting used though, there are a couple shadows that interfere with the colored rim. Other than that, this is a very nice take on the challenge = ) |

Forget Milk. Got Coke?by ChiquiComment: The soft focus probably won't work here (DPC), but I like the smooth quality it gives the shot. For more nostalgia though, I would have used one of the glass bottles. Not as easy to come by though. I also find the lighting a little harsh on the bottle. Overall a nice image. |

Is It In You?by greenem2Comment: This idea came to mind when I thought of this challenge too, but I wasn't sure how to pull it off. I'm gonna guess that this is either done with a blacklight or a colored liquid (hues edited in post). Looks just like a gatorade/powerade commercial, nicely done. Feel free to share how you did this = ) |

molten waxby magnetic9999Comment: The lighting, whether purely from the flame or added from external sources, does well to make this shot work. |

Oil Giantby renzoComment: I really like the luminescence (spelling?) of this shot. Nice abstract as well. |

Hot set o' wheelsby MaverickComment: Thanks to everyone for their comments and votes. With the top of the skate in focus, it really wasn't as interesting, hence the shallow dof used. I would've liked it even shallower, but without macro lenses I think that's the best my camera can do in that respect. I think I should have tried harder to hide the hockey stick so the skate wouldn't be cropped so tightly on top, but I'm surprised noone mentioned that.
I've posted a pic of the setup here ---I've taken the picture down to free up space--- Message edited by author 2003-05-30 23:40:35. |

You Might be a Redneck if...by cercyComment: LOL too funny! = ) Definitely an original take on transportation. Composition is good. The focus is a little off, but not by much. -8- Mav |

Mountain Bike Light Speedby fotoflyComment: I like how the shadows point towards the trail, it creates a feeling of discovery, as if the path is a new and untamed challenge. Nice work. |
