Hay, thats nice!by MartinComment: Beautiful composition, but the colours seems off, especially the sky. The sun's glare on the left side unfoirtunately washes out the colours on that side. The colours on the right side are very rich and deep. Beautiful. I guess maybe next time don't shoot into (or so close to) the sun. Saturation is also maybe a little too much. |

Reflectionby Hotshot132Comment: The outline of the tree on the ice is superb. The colours are great. I would have liked to see a little more sharpness to this image, though. |

Hop, Skip and a Jumpby rll07Comment: I really like the composition of this picture. Nice use of thirds. Too bad the foreground item is the bush and tree. I find they take away from this picture. IMO, I would have just blured the low yellow grass. |

Nature at it's best ...by CreativeFlyPhotoComment: My first impression of this picture was that it was a finalist, for sure, but...the more I look at it, the more it hurts my eyes to try to look at all the details. Given the B&W, it makes it hard to see where one thing stops and another starts. It is a very busy picture, so perhaps the colour version might have helped to define the different foliage in the background. Then again, maybe it would just add to the confusion. The river, foreground and destination are great. The foliage makes my eyes bug out. I still give you a 7. I would love to see the original colour pic. Also, I would love to go there. where is this? |

Sydneys Greatest (Bridge)by RavenComment: I like the composition of this picture very much. The foreground building works very well against the sloping bridge, the towers and the arch. The city on the right gives the picture picture closure as the bridge leads you right to it. Unfortunately, you seem to have overboard with the USM as your picture is full of sharpening artifacts. Sorry, can't give you full marks for it. |
